Children's Services Early Care & Education Programs

Each year, Head Start California invites staff and parents to join the organization for a fun-filled day of advocacy at the State Capitol in Sacramento. Attendees participate in advocacy briefing sessions, a march to the Capitol, and meetings with legislators to tell them why Head Start is important. Children's Services staff and Policy Council representatives make a point to attend this advocacy day each year.
