Children's Services Early Care & Education Programs

The Home Visiting Program (also known as the Home Based Program) provides free, high-quality educational services for eligible families with children from birth to three-years of age, delivered in the comfort of each family’s home.  Through regular visits, trained home visitors share early learning materials, offer guidance to expectant parents, and support families in their vital role as their child’s first teacher.  The program empowers parents with tools and resources to foster their child’s development and success. Families enrolled in the program also benefit from monthly playgroups, where children can build social skills, and parents can connect with other families in their community.  The program is available to all communities across Colusa County, ensuring accessible support for early learning.
